The biggest opposition parties, the centre-right SDS and NSi parties, are asking the Constitutional Court to review Slovenia's recognition of Palestine. Parliament voted to recognize the state of Palestine in early June. On the same day, the opposition SDS tabled an unsuccessful motion for a consultative referendum.
The opposition, which then boycotted the vote, is now challenging the recognition on the grounds of abuse of parliamentary procedure.
