On this occasion the “Bežigrajska galerija 2” gallery is exhibiting less known works by the Slovenian avant-garde group “Grupa 53”. The exhibition opened its doors today and it will be on display until 28 December. It presents the work of artists Milan Berbuč, Mire Cetin, France Peršin, Ivan Seljak - Čopič, Marko Šuštaršič, Melita Vovk, Marijan Tršar and sculptors Alenka Eržen and Drago Tršar. Their work, as a group, was first exhibited in October 1953 on the ground floor of the Ljubljana Museum of Modern Art. This exhibition was later moved to Belgrade and Zagreb.
