The Ljubljana Stock Exchange opened trading for the corporate bonds of the Bank Asset Management Company (BAMC) or Bad bank. The all in all value of the state guaranteed bonds is estimated at 1 billon EUR. The actual trading of the two-year and three-year bonds with an annual interest rate of 3.75 percent and 4.5 percent will begin on Friday.
In exchange for bad debts the bonds will be received by the NLB and NKBM. The two banks already performed the transfer of 3,21 billion EUR of bad claims on Friday last week, but the actual physical transfer – the assets and all related documentation - it is to be implemented in the coming days.
