They are looking into sham businesses for waste paper and iron which are valued at more than € 3.5 million. According to the police, six suspects have unjustifiably filed for value-added tax refunds on behalf of four independent entrepreneurs and two companies. The tax office has carried out an inspection, found irregularities and alerted the authorities.
