Slovenian children tend to stay at home longer than virtually any other European children. In Sweden, for example, the majority of children leave their home at the age of 20. In the UK, it’s 24 for men and 22 for women. In Slovenia, however, most children leave the home after the age of 30 (for men) and around 28 for women. That’s the second oldest age in Europe – only Greek children stay at home longer than Slovenes. From a European perspective, Slovenian children live 5 years longer at home than the average European.
