Legendary Basketball Player Decorated by President

Ivo Daneu, one of the best Slovenian basketball players of all time, was honoured for his sporting and education achievements today with the Golden Order for Services. President Borut Pahor decorated him at a ceremony attended by Daneu's teammates with whom he won the 1970 World Championship in Ljubljana. Daneu received the decoration for his extraordinary sporting achievements, as a role model to young athletes and for promoting Slovenia abroad.
