In the massive hall, which measures 24.000 square meters, all the equipment has already been installed, however, the TV crew was not allowed to go in, because of safety reasons, since they have already started testing the devices. "When it comes to such large devices, it is quite necessary to test them and see if all the individual components work together," explained Magna's project manager, David Adam.
Two-thirds of the 150 million euros worth of investment have been used to buy the equipment, and the machine's impeccability will be tested for the next four months. The production in Magna is supposed to start in the first three months of 2019. First, there should be only one shift, and during that time, they will paint 20 bodyworks per hour.
In the beginning, there will be 200 people working at Magna production. When we asked, when will there be 400 employees, as stated in the contract, David Adamn replied that it depends mainly on the number of orders.
