In September 2002, the Slovenian extreme cyclist Marko Baloh set a world record. In 12 hours, he rode over 450 kilometers. To put that in perspective, imagine bicycling from Koper to Šentilj – and then back, in one day. And doing so at an average speed of 35 kilometers an hour. The achievement earned BAloh a spot in the Guiness Book of Records – although challengers are welcome!
