Before the Sochi Olympic Games he promised to skate for as many hours as they would score goals. Slovenia's ice hockey team ended up scoring 10 goals and even made it to the quarter finals.

President Pahor's skating campaign also raised money for charity, as an Olympic team jersey with player signatures and Anže Kopitar's hockey stick were auctioned for over 16.000 euros.
