Slovenia trailed for most of the game until the tides turned in the third quarter. The score remained close until the very end. The game saw numerous fouls, and at one point Slovenian player Gašper Vidmar even had a tooth knocked out.

After the match, player Zoran Dragic said the team planned to play hard from the beginning.

Slovenia is off tonight but will play Georgia on Saturday in Celje.
