Slovenia marks record high temperatures

On Monday (Mar 17th), Slovenia was marked by record high temperatures. Temperatures were high in several towns and cities. In the SE town of Črnomelj, temperatures reached 27 degrees centigrade. In the coming days, we can expect cooler weather, close to a March average.According to Andrej Velkavrh of the Environment Agency, temperatures were balmy in other towns, as well, e.g. in Novo mesto (24.8degrees), and Kočevje (24.5.degree) among others. In Ljubljana, the temperature broke a record from 1977 (24.6 degrees), with the mercury rising to 25.1 degrees centigrade.
