He was an expert in the fields of social, political and linguistic anthropology. He was born in 1928. He graduated from the Philosophical Faculty in Belgrade and in 1965 he obtained his PhD. In 2002 he received the Order of Freedom of the Republic of Slovenia for his scientific, research and his pedagogical work.
