In some places the electricity was cut, while strong winds uncovered roofs and toppled over trees. Hail has caused damage on over 800 hectares of farming land this year, while the draught claimed 50 thousand hectares. The rain did do some good beside watering the earth though. It helped firemen limit a forest fire in Rogatec from spreading.
