The most enthusiastic twinning city is Kranj

Most of Slovenia's larger towns are "twinned" with other cities around Europe. None more so than Ljubljana, which is twinned with towns like Cleveland, Vienna, Belgrade and at least 20 more. Virtually all of the former Yugoslav capitals are twinned with Ljubljana, and Ljubljana is also the only city to be twinned with an African city. However, the most enthusiastic twinning city (when considering size) is Kranj, which is paired with 17 cities. That's more than any other city except Ljubljana. Maribor is 2-3 times larger than Kranj but not twinned with as many cities. Celje is roughly the same size and paired with three.
