Austrian machinery manufacturer Palfinger signed a deal to build a new plant in Ormož.
The investment is worth some EUR 70m and is expected to be completed by the year 2028.
The project will include a production facility for cranes and hoists, a training centre, a logistics centre, and a coating plant. The Slovenian government will cover 30% of the funding.
Palfinger already has a production facility in Maribor and employs around 900 workers in Slovenia.
