It comes as PM Golob addressed the 79th session of the UN General Assembly as part of the general debate in New York today:

''Stop the bloodshed! Stop the suffering! Bring the hostages home and end the occupation!''

Earlier during his address, Golob repeated what he had already said at a special open session of the UN Security Council held under Slovenia's presidency on Wednesday and at Sunday's Summit for the Future.

In his speech, the Israeli prime minister did not even mention the American proposal for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, and pledged that Israel would fight "until it reaches all its goals," by winning the war.
