Slovenia has the highest industrial chimney in Europe

Slovenia may be among the smallest countries in Europe, but it has one of the highest structures in Europe. Specifically: it has the highest industrial chimney in Europe. The chimney at the thermal power station of Trbovlje is 362 m high. The Trbovlje chimney took about 12,000 cubic meters of concrete, 1,000 tons of steel and 200 days to make. It was built so high to prevent air pollution from entering the valley where Trbovlje is.
