Slovenia’s coast is the second smallest in Europe

Slovenia almost has the shortest coast of all European countries. Slovenia’s coast is only about 47 km long. That makes it the second smallest in Europe: only the coast of Bosnia and Herzegovina is shorter, at 30 km. Behind Slovenia is the tiny island of Malta, which has a 136 km coastline. But with its small coast, Slovenia even has one of the smallest coasts in the world. But, as some may say, at least it has a coast. Plenty of countries, like Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Paraguay and Bolivia do not. Enjoy the Slovenian seaside.
