The book “Veronika decides to Die” takes place in Slovenia

The book “Veronika decides to Die” by popular author Paulo Coehlo takes place in Slovenia. In the book, the main character is in the middle of killing herself when she sees a magazine article entitled “Where is Slovenia?” She gets upset and decides to include it in her suicide note. We won’t spoil the ending for you. But the book was turned into a movie starring Sarah Michelle Gellar – but with a big difference: Slovenia was changed to New York. Ironically, the producers probably also wondered “Where is Slovenia?”.
