This year's Jenko Prize, the country's top accolade for poetry, went to Miljana Cunta and Robert Simonišek in what is the first time that the award went to two recipients.
Cunta was honoured for her collection of poems titled "We Lost Our Way a Few Times, Now We're Going Back", while Simonišek received the prize for his work "Returning to Purity".
Cunta already received one of this year's Prešeren Fund prizes for the same collection.
The winners received the prizes at a ceremony in Kranj last night. They will share the prize of EUR 5,000.
