Slovenia hosted the 8th session of the Coordinating Committee of Ministers of Slovenia and Italy in Brdo pri Kranju today.
The session was co-chaired by the two countries' foreign ministers Tanja Fajon and Antonio Tajani. Migration, national minorities, economic cooperation, and nuclear energy topped the agenda.
The two sides also discussed the potential of joint projects in fields such as water management, fisheries, energy and climate action. Following the meeting the two foreign ministers said business cooperation between Slovenia and Italy was good, but that the aim is to boost it even further.
