The Slovenian foreign minister began a tour of three East African countries yesterday. Today, she held talks with her Ethiopian counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timotheos.
It is hoped that the new embassy in Addis Ababa will help to improve cooperation between the two countries.
By the end of her tour of the region on Tuesday, the foreign minister will also have visited Somalia and Kenya.
The three countries have a combined population of around 200 million people.
